THIS YEAR

  This year I am going to be,a happier, busier, better me.

 I cant believe a year has gone since my friend passed on.
 No more will I sit about and mope but look forward to the year with hope.

 If she was here I know she'd say, get off your arse and seize the day.
 Celebrate the times we had  and do the things that make you glad.

 So this year I vow to do all the things I promised to.
 Visit places far and wide the sun and moon can be my guide.

  Im going to study a degree, a thing thats long been calling me.
  Too long my brains been out to grass, must wake it up exams to pass.

 I may not do it all in a year but I'm going start right now right here.
